Bungy Jumping at Vic Falls Bridge, Gourits or Bloukrans
A bungy jump is one of the ultimate adrenalin rushes. In Southern Africa there are three venues to jump commercially. The first is off the Vic Falls Bridge crossing from Zambia to Zimbabwe, then the other two are along the Garden Route, one at Gourits and then the big daddy of them all, the Bloukrans River Bridge.
Along the Garden Route of South Africa, in the Tsitsikamma rain forest, you will find the world’s highest commercial bungy jump in the world and it is listed as such in the Guinness Book of Records. This jump occurs on the Bloukrans Bridge from which you can jump and fall 216 meters’, while below you runs the Bloukrans River.
