Southern Africa is synonymous with 4x4ing. It has every type of terrain from the towering dunes of Namibia to the game rich veldt of Kruger National Park to the idyllic beaches of Mozambique. Rent your 4x4 and explore or else use one of our well travelled guides.

We offer two options: the first is where we work out a schedule for you according to where you want to go and what you want to see. We will also make the accommodation bookings, arrange your vehicle and then off you go. The second option is where we arrange a guide and all you have to do is relax and follow. This means that you will not miss a thing as he would have visited the areas several times before. For those with restricted time we offer day trips to places only accessible by 4x4. These options guarantee a truly great experience, away from other tourists and into the heart of Southern Africa. If you don’t have much experience in off-roading we can also arrange a days training before you head off on safari. That way you will have peace of mind and know how to get the best out of your vehicle and also your equipment.
For those with a sense of adventure, these off-road experiences are not to be missed.

The Action Africa Off-road experience gets you completely off the beaten track, but with so much to see and do. We understand that there may be plenty you may want to do before or after your off-road experience, perhaps a few days searching for the BIG FIVE, lying on the beaches of the glorious coastline or relaxing in one of the world class hotels or lodges. This can be arranged and booked through us as an add-on to your 4x4 experience.
South Africa is surrounded by four topnotch 4x4ing destinations: Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique. Each of these countries can be explored individually or we can suggest a route, which takes in the best of more than one of these countries. Brace your self for lots of stamps in your passport!
Few foreigners know that we have two countries within the borders of South Africa, namely the mountain kingdom of Lesotho and also Swaziland. Lesotho is a good winter spot to take your 4x4 if you are looking for snow while Swaziland has several good national parks.

Action Africa through NAMIBIA

We offer advice and directions to some of the best camping sites in Namibia.
We specialise in the renting out of quality 4 x 4 vehicles and strive to offer the safest car rental options within the segment that we compete. All our vehicles are equipped with at least two airbags…..a claim that no other car rental company can make. A further safety (and convenience) factor is that all our vehicles are diesel powered. This gives you a longer driving range and in the unlikely event of an accident, the hazard of fire is greatly reduced.

The fleet comprises of new Double Cab and 5 door (fully automatic) station wagon type 4 X 4 vehicles. All the vehicles can be rented out as standard or fully equipped for camping.
